We are seeking a highly skilled Server Chip Architect to lead the development of innovative, scalable and power-efficient CPU solutions.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CPU or SoC architecture design and be able to drive system architecture decisions across software and hardware teams.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring world-class server processors from concept to production, leveraging advanced CPU architectures and state-of-the-art interconnect technologies.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing product requirements and defining competitive and forward-looking architecture solutions for server CPUs
  • Developing detailed hardware architectural specifications in close collaboration with digital design engineers
  • Providing technical leadership across the development cycle
  • Evaluating existing hardware modules and identifying opportunities for performance, scalability and efficiency improvements
Key Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field
  • At least 8 years of industry experience in CPU or SoC architecture design
  • Proven track record in driving system architecture decisions across software and hardware teams
  • Familiarity with interface peripherals such as Ethernet, PCIe, I2S, SPI and I2C
  • In-depth knowledge of CPU microarchitecture, cache hierarchy, coherency protocols and interconnect fabrics
  • Hands-on experience in system-level performance modeling, workload characterization and architectural trade-off analysis
