Warehouse Operations Specialist Role

This position entails overseeing the efficient functioning of warehouse operations, encompassing tasks such as receiving, storing, checking, retrieving, loading, unloading, repacking, and palletizing goods. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective inventory management systems to maintain accurate records and ensure proper storage and organization of goods.
  • Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, reach trucks) and perform regular maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to established safety procedures and company policies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve operational goals and provide guidance to junior staff members.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions to improve workflow efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in warehouse operations or a related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift goods weighing 15-20kg when required.
