National Coach Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced National Coach to lead our team of athletes in achieving excellence at the World, Asia, and South-East Asia levels.

  • You will work collaboratively with a team of coaches to develop and implement training and competition plans for the athletes.
  • As a technical expert, you will provide guidance and mentorship to the team of coaches under your supervision, supporting their growth and development.
  • You will collaborate with Sport Singapore (SportSG), Singapore Sports Institute (SSI), and National Youth Sports Institute (NYSI) to identify and develop suitable athletes for national team representation.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of competitive coaching experience at elite and developmental youth levels, with a strong working knowledge in all categories.
  • Possession of an internationally recognised high-level coaching qualification is preferred.
  • Preferably holds at least SG-Coach Level 1 (Full) certification or equivalent, and is registered with the National Registry of Coaches (NROC).
  • Experience in leading and managing a team of coaches.
  • Strong understanding of sports science principles, particularly long-term athlete development.
  • Competent in values inculcation and character development for athletes.
  • Excellent planning, administrative, and organisational skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English with athletes and stakeholders.
