A seasoned professional with 7+ years of experience in managing complex IT environments across multiple regions, you will lead global infrastructure initiatives, optimize system performance, and ensure robust security compliance. With a proven track record in strategic planning, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration, you will deliver scalable and resilient IT solutions that drive business growth and digital transformation.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee global IT infrastructure operations, including data centres, cloud platforms, network systems, and endpoint devices.
• Design and implement scalable infrastructure strategies to support business growth and digital transformation across international offices.
• Manage global teams and coordinate with regional IT leads to ensure consistent service delivery and infrastructure standards.
• Develop and enforce global IT policies, including security protocols, compliance measures, and disaster recovery plans.
• Drive infrastructure modernization projects, including cloud migration, virtualization, and automation initiatives.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
• Oversee day-to-day IT operations, including network infrastructure, systems administration, and user support.
• Oversee vendor relationships, including contract negotiations, service level agreements (SLAs), and performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with international data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and industry standards.
• Lead incident response and root cause analysis for infrastructure-related issues across global sites.
• Provide management-level reporting on infrastructure health, security posture, and strategic initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Technical skills: knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS), experience with networking (DNS, DHCP, SDWAN, VPNs, routing, firewalls), proficiency in server management (file servers, database servers).
• Security and compliance: security best practices, understanding of data protection regulations for multiple regions, experience with patch management and vulnerability assessment.
• Troubleshooting and support: implementation of ITSM and asset management, incident response and problem-solving skills, helpdesk or user support experience.
• Automation and scripting: scripting skills for system management tasks (PowerShell, Bash), familiarity with automation tools (Power Automate, Sharepoint, Powershell).
• Documentation and reporting: ability to create and maintain system documentation, report generation for performance, security, and usage metrics.
• Project management and planning: ability to handle infrastructure upgrades and migrations, experience with planning and executing IT projects.
• Leadership and collaboration: team management, experience working with cross-functional teams, stakeholder communication, project management.
• Certifications: relevant certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, AWS, etc.).
• Experience in IT infrastructure management: familiarity with managing and maintaining a site's IT infrastructure, knowledge of industry-standard tools for monitoring and managing systems.
• Adaptability and learning: ability to work independently, willingness to stay current with evolving technologies, flexibility in adapting to new systems or processes.

Studies:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• Technical certifications: Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, Azure, etc., Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA, CCIE), Cloud Computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), Cyber Security: CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, Management: ITIL, PMP.
