Math and English Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Math and English Teacher to support our students in a bilingual learning environment.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bilingual education and a proven ability in curriculum development for international learners.

You will design, plan, and deliver lessons that align with the school's holistic and inquiry-based teaching philosophy. Your contribution to curriculum development will be essential in maintaining academic excellence and helping students thrive in a bilingual education setting.

The responsibilities include conducting engaging Math and English lessons tailored to a bilingual education model, collaborating with academic staff on curriculum development and lesson planning, modifying teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of bilingual education students, developing materials and assessments that align with school-wide curriculum development goals, and providing regular feedback and progress reports to students and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging Math and English lessons aligned with bilingual education principles.
  • Collaborate with academic staff to develop and implement curriculum plans.
  • Modify teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learner needs.
  • Develop educational materials and assessments that meet school standards.
  • Provide timely and effective feedback to students and parents.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, English, Mathematics, or related fields. Additionally, experience in curriculum development for international schools is highly valued, as well as prior teaching experience in a bilingual education setting. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage students from diverse backgrounds are also essential.
