As a key member of our team, the Chief Claims Officer, APAC will play a critical role in shaping our claims function in the Asia Pacific region. We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong track record in claims management to join our team.
About the OpportunityThe successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop and implement claims strategies across P&C insurance segments to ensure efficient claims handling and customer satisfaction. They will work closely with country, regional, and global leadership teams to align claims practices with overall business objectives.
Main Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the claims strategy for the Asia Pacific region, aligned with global objectives in conjunction with local Business Units.
- Claims Performance Monitoring: Oversee regional portfolio performance, trends, and emerging risks. Drive customer understanding through surveying, meetings, and actionable insight to improve service and enhance loyalty and retention.
- Claims Governance: Oversee the development and implementation of claims policies, guidelines, and standards. Establish event identification, risk assessment, risk response, control activities, and monitoring of business operations.
We require a seasoned professional with 20+ years of claims management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as the ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
