Media Engineering Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Media Engineering Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of the Recording Media Operations (RMO) Sputter Equipment Engineering team, you will be responsible for engineering innovative solutions across mechanical, electrical/electronics, PLC, software & controls, and advanced analytic systems.

Job Description:

Install, upgrade, and maintain state-of-the-art sputter systems.

Lead and manage projects, ensuring timely completion within stipulated schedules.

Actively participate in technical meetings and discussions.

Troubleshoot and resolve both mechanical and electrical issues.

Generate comprehensive reports, including daily updates, issue logs, and Closed Loop Corrective Actions (CLCA).

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Software, Process, Launch, Maintenance, and Equipment Development Engineering.

Lead and mentor a junior engineers and technicians.

Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance system performance and refine working protocols.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant field, with at least 5 years of pertinent experience.

Proven experience in installing and maintaining high vacuum CVD/PVD systems in a cleanroom environment.

Exceptional troubleshooting capabilities.

Knowledge of Thin Film, PVD, CVD, Etch, Ion Beam, Ion Implantation, and Ultra-High Vacuum tools is a plus.
