Job Title

This is a key role in our organization that requires a senior-level procurement specialist with expertise in managing major capital equipment categories and executing supply chain strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Partnering: The successful candidate will collaborate with business teams to resolve stakeholder issues and educate them on procurement processes, building strong relationships and recommending process enhancements.
  • Resource Management: This position involves providing updates on supplier performance, addressing resource and budgetary issues, and developing complex business cases.
  • Negotiations: The candidate will partner with business leaders to execute purchases that deliver cost savings and improve vendor performance, monitoring supply agreements and engaging suppliers to secure favorable outcomes.
  • Procurement Strategy: Implementing global procurement strategies, developing vendor management plans, and establishing procurement goals are essential responsibilities of this role.
  • Cost Savings: Identifying and driving cost-saving opportunities, developing proposals, and maintaining cost forecasts for the region are key objectives of this position.
  • Supplier Management: Leading supplier management processes, ensuring compliance with contract terms, mitigating supplier risks, and conducting inventory analysis are critical aspects of this job.
  • Contract Management: Overseeing contract documentation, partnering with Legal to manage the contract lifecycle, negotiating contract terms, and managing order requirements are key components of this role.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, cost consultancy, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or category management.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Southeast Asia market and local regulations.
  • Proficient in end-to-end procurement processes.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Goal-oriented, proactive, and adaptable to change.

The ideal candidate will have experience working on data center or large-scale industrial engineering projects, knowledge of commodity management, contract management, and quality management, familiarity with mechanical equipment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI, Coupa, Anaplan, and Smartsheet.
