Job Title: Family Liaison Specialist

About the Role

The Family Liaison Specialist will play a key role in building relationships with families and young children. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling them to engage effectively with parents, caregivers, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments to understand family needs and circumstances.
  • Collate and consolidate information from relevant professionals and sources.
  • Establish rapport with parents and caregivers, using various strategies to engage them in their child's education.
  • Facilitate communication between parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to ensure a holistic understanding of each child's needs.
  • Conduct bio-psycho-social assessments to identify areas of strength and need, developing intervention plans accordingly.
Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong understanding of community resources and services.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience working with families and young children.
