Job Overview:

  • The BIM Support Specialist plays a pivotal role in augmenting the Building Information Modeling (BIM) endeavors across various projects.
  • In collaboration with design teams, this professional ensures adherence to BIM standards while assisting in the development and implementation of BIM processes and technologies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Elevating BIM execution plans and strategies for projects under the supervision of senior BIM professionals.
  • Supporting project teams in model setup, coordination, clash detection, and issue resolution to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Overseeing the Common Data Environment (CDE) and facilitating seamless collaboration through effective model/data sharing workflows.
  • Conducting quality checks on BIM models to guarantee accuracy, standards compliance, and coordination.
  • Mentoring project teams on BIM software and workflows, such as Revit, Navisworks, and Autodesk Docs.
  • Maintaining up-to-date documentation and contributing to the development of BIM templates and libraries.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Architecture/Engineering/Construction or equivalent, preferably with a Specialist Diploma in BIM.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in BIM coordination or digital design, with at least 2 years in BIM Management.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and tools like Enscape, VRcollab, or Revizto.
  • In-depth knowledge of BIM standards and workflows, particularly within the local construction context (e.g., Singapore regulations).
