Job Description

The role of the QHSE Advisor is to lead and maintain our workplace Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Management System.

  • To keep up with procedures and standards set for our Department.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and internal requirements and targets.
  • Lead QHSE programs and promote a safety culture within the organization.
  • Oversee the development, implementation, improvement and facilitation of training materials and programs.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure all services/operations are in compliance to relevant authorities' requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain the Workplace QHSE Management System.
  • Assist the organisation to identify and assess any foreseeable risk arising from the workplace or work processes.
  • Recommend reasonably practicable measures to eliminate any foreseeable risk to any person who is at work.
  • Conduct Hazard and Risk Assessments to proactively identify areas of opportunity and develop and implement actions to eliminate or mitigate the hazards and risks within the organisation.
  • Investigate and report on incidents, complaints and other situations as may arise.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant diploma or certification in workplace safety and health and quality management.
  • Knowledge in ISO 9001, 14001 and internal auditor training will be advantageous.
  • Self-motivated team player.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good competency with using Microsoft applications.
