Job Title: Store Manager

Job Description:

As a Store Manager, you will oversee the inventory levels, ensuring accurate records of incoming and outgoing goods. This includes conducting regular stock counts and audits to maintain accurate inventory records.

You will also be responsible for organizing the store/warehouse to ensure efficient space utilization and accessibility of goods. This involves implementing and maintaining a labeling and categorization system for all stored items.

Maintaining up-to-date records of inventory, delivery notes, and stock movement is crucial in this role. You will prepare and issue requisition forms and purchase orders as needed.

Coordinating with suppliers for timely delivery of goods and materials is another key responsibility. You will track and report any discrepancies in deliveries.

Ensuring all goods are stored in compliance with company policies and safety regulations is vital. Monitoring and reporting any safety concerns or incidents in the warehouse/store area is also necessary.

Strong communication and teamwork skills are required to work closely with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • NTC/Nitec or Diploma in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Engineering discipline or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in the metal machining or oil and gas industries
  • Proven track record of being proactive and having high ownership towards daily responsibilities/work
  • Good working attitude, organized, and able to communicate with other departments
  • Able to multitask and handle other challenging work demands and tight schedules
