Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced credit risk analyst to join our team in evaluating individual credit applications and monitoring existing transactions under SFCO as a VP-class credit analyst.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the promotion of the department's credit strategy and initiative by developing and implementing effective credit risk management plans.
- Assess credit applications and monitor process by conducting thorough reviews of credit projections and leveraging information from various sources.
- Prepare and review memos required for approval of credit application, including detailed analysis of transaction background, structure of transactions, creditworthiness of relevant parties, and industry and regulatory environment.
- Monitor existing portfolio by regular review of borrower ratings so that credit costs are properly calculated.
- Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders within the organization.
- Work in partnership with colleagues across the region and Tokyo HQ to improve the quality of credit risk management.
- Act as a role model to team members and adhere to all company policies and guidelines.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in credit risk analysis or similar field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
