Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Fitness Career Specialist to assist our Senior Fitness Trainer in conducting fitness training and tests. This is an exciting opportunity to work with trainees and contribute to their fitness development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with check-in and check-out processes for all trainings and fitness tests
  • Organizing and conducting fitness training and tests according to lesson plans and guidelines
  • Providing emergency response procedures as needed, including activating ambulances, performing CPR, and operating AEDs
  • Conducting after-use checks on equipment at the test centre to ensure usability
  • Writing incident reports for injuries, test violations, and other unusual situations
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Completed one of the following: Fitness Instructor Course (FIC) accredited by SportSG, NITEC in Fitness Training by the Institute of Technical Education (ITE), SAF Specialist Cadet Course (Fitness) / Basic Fitness Specialist Course Certificate, Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) PTI course, American Council on Exercise (ACE) Certified Personal Trainer, American Council on Exercise (ACE) Certified Group Fitness Instructor, or any other reputable fitness certificates
  • Held a valid CPR+AED certificate
  • Passed IPPT (if eligible)
  • Completed Full Time NS (if eligible)
  • Had a Body Mass Index (BMI) of less than 25

Please note that this position may require working in different roles, including Duty Instructor and Gym Supervisor. Your performance will be guided by the operation guidelines.

This position is based in one of our Fitness Conditioning Centres in Singapore.
