Job SummaryThis position is responsible for performing authentication controls over securities transfers requests, ensuring documentation completeness and accuracy in line with agreed service levels & timings. You will also be required to liaise with counterparty for custodian details and set dates for completion of transfers, guaranteeing timely & accurate processing.
Key Responsibilities- Authentication Controls: Perform thorough authentication checks on securities transfer requests to ensure compliance with regulations, guidelines, standards, and policies.
- Custodian Liaison: Establish effective communication with counterparties to obtain custodian details and coordinate transfer completion dates.
- Transfer Management: Oversee the management of exceptions to ensure timely and accurate processing of asset transfers.
- Client Support: Provide direct liaison and support to internal clients through hotline/advisory services, including collaboration with business partners from operations, Legal, Compliance, Business Risk Management, and Project teams.
- Risk Mitigation: Investigate reconciliation breaks and other controls to identify opportunities for better risk mitigation.
- Ad-Hoc Projects: Engage in ad-hoc projects, including systems changes, process improvements, cross-border initiatives, and new regulatory changes, from requirements gathering to implementation.
- A university degree
- An understanding of the trade lifecycle and prior experience in a similar role
- A good grasp of process and system dependency
- Good prioritizing and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent teamwork and cross-team collaboration
- Great computer skills and willingness to learn new programs
