As a Special Effects Coordinator, you will be responsible for setting up and executing pyrotechnics shows, preparing and handling special effects equipment, and installing technical facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up pyrotechnics show: Coordinate with clients to ensure a smooth execution of the pyrotechnics display, including setting up stage props, equipment, and systems.
  • Prepare, execute and operate pyrotechnics display: Work closely with the production team to deliver a safe and high-quality pyrotechnics experience.
  • Install, test and administer technical facilities: Collaborate with engineers to design and install technical infrastructure that meets safety standards.
  • Handle and install special effects: Ensure that all special effects equipment is handled and installed safely and efficiently.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Working experience in both outdoor and indoor venues: Having experience working in various environments is essential for this role.
  • NITEC/ GCE O Level in Audio Engineering or equivalent: A background in audio engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Computer literacy: Basic computer skills are necessary for this role.
  • Electrical knowledge: Knowledge of electrical systems is an advantage.
  • Availability to work outside normal office hours: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays is required.
