Senior Software Engineer OpportunityWe are seeking a seasoned software engineer to play a pivotal role in designing, testing, deploying, and maintaining our critical trade management system. The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for technology and a knack for solving complex problems.This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge .NET technologies, focusing on distributed systems, high-volume processing, and AWS serverless technologies. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the design and improvement of multithreaded, high-volume trade flow processing systems.In this role, you will be responsible for making independent decisions while effectively mitigating risks, taking full ownership of all aspects of our trade management systems, and thriving in a fast-paced setting, balancing second-line support with strategic development responsibilities.You will also work closely with engineers from the UK, US, Singapore, and Hong Kong to deliver robust solutions, leveraging your expertise in C#, .NET Core, multi-threaded programming, and object-oriented design.Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
  • Experience: 8+ years of hands-on experience in a formal enterprise-level development environment, particularly with C#.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, multi-threaded programming, and object-oriented design.
    • Proven experience in building connected, service-oriented applications.
    • Familiarity with enterprise messaging systems.
    • Experience with AWS serverless technologies.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly to various audiences.
  • DevOps Knowledge: Experience with JIRA, Git, Jenkins, and Octopus Deploy.

  • Agile Development: Familiarity with Agile software development concepts.
  • Test-Driven Development: Experience with behavior and test-driven development.
  • Full Stack Development: Knowledge of web and mobile frameworks such as React JS and Angular.
  • Financial Markets: Understanding of the FIX protocol, MS SQL, and familiarity with US and International Equity, Fixed Income, and Commodity markets.
  • Post-Trade Lifecycle: Insight into the post-trade lifecycle processes.
