Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing mathematical models to solve real-world problems in port and shipping management

  • Conducting extensive numerical experiments to validate the performance of proposed models

Requirements:

  • A PhD degree in transport engineering, maritime transport and management, computer science, or a related field from a good university
  • Excellent programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, Java, or Julia
  • A strong publication record in reputable journals and conferences in relevant fields
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Experience in grant writing and project management is an asset
