Job Title: Halal Warehouse Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Halal Warehouse Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of Halal certification.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and monitor HAP (Halal Assurance Program) monitoring and corrective actions for any HAP deviations.
  • Assist in product recalls and withdrawals until any deviations or unsatisfactory conditions related to Halal requirements are corrected.
  • Inspect vehicles during loading and unloading to ensure there are no suspicious raw materials or non-Halal personal items.
  • Evaluate raw materials' packaging and labeling for compliance with Halal certification standards.
  • Ensure proper withdrawal of requested packaging materials and labels.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment while ensuring compliance with Halal standards and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Halal products and practices.
  • Forklift driving experience is preferred.
  • Previous warehouse experience is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Good physical condition and ability to lift and move products as needed.
