Job Title: Project Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill this project coordination position. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

This role involves coordinating site works, assisting project managers in overall direction, monitoring, and control of daily site operations. Key responsibilities include:
  • Furnishing project managers with daily updates and site progress reports, including photos taken at the site.
  • Conducting regular site inspections and following up on actions to ensure safety compliance.
  • Organizing tool box meetings and implementing safety management systems at work sites.
  • Coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure valid permits and adherence to schedules.
  • Supervising workers' work schedules, instructing them on tasks, and ensuring independent work.
  • Practicing stringent control over site progress and alerting project managers of any deviations from work schedules.
  • Assisting in arranging and organizing sub-contractors/suppliers job scopes at sites.
  • Seeking approval for quotations offered by suppliers/contractors before commencement of work and providing value engineering to work scope materials.
  • QC-ing materials or furniture in factories with factory managers before actual site delivery.
  • Coodinating and resolving on-site issues with clients, architects, consultants, NSC, DSC on a day-to-day basis.
  • Checking all deliveries to sites and ensuring they are of correct quantity, condition, and as specified.
  • Managing documentation and handling submissions with building management offices or relevant authorities.
  • Verifying and certifying suppliers/contractors work at sites.
  • Evaluating, reviewing, and checking M&E details design systems and coordinating with project managers and consultants to ensure completeness and functionality of M&E services.
  • Managing M&E work done in accordance with approved designs, materials used, and workmanship complying with contract specifications.
  • Providing auto-cad support as and when required.
  • Ensuring safety standards and proper housekeeping are implemented and maintained within job site compounds and that all workers abide by OHsas/ISO standard requirements.
  • Attending company's weekly and fortnightly meetings.
  • Actively participating in ad-hoc projects and other duties when required.
  • Participating in OHsas/ISO programs and projects.


About You

To succeed in this role, you should have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. You should also be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

You will have experience working in construction or a related field, and be familiar with project management principles, Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and safety management systems.
