**Job Role:** Strategic Financial Lead

The role of a Strategic Financial Lead involves managing internal and external financial models, negotiating investment agreements, sourcing new financing, and supporting senior management in making commercial and investment decisions.

  • Prepare and review all financial models, interrogating assumptions to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Assess various financing structures and negotiate investment agreements that meet the company's strategic objectives.
  • Source and liaise with potential new financiers to secure funding for projects and initiatives.
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to inform strategic decisions, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Consolidate inputs from various workstreams into strategy, financial models, and commercial decisions to drive business success.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

To be successful as a Strategic Financial Lead, you will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • At least 4 years of experience in a financial role, with expertise in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Excellent command of Excel, with proficiency in creating complex financial models and reports.
  • Experience with different forms of financing, including debt, equity, and hybrid structures.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Minimum 2:1 bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as finance, accounting, or economics.
