About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced nursing professional to join our team as a Nursing Clinician Leader. This role is critical in providing clinical supervision and coordinating the clinical assignments of new recruits/graduates nurses.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining quality nursing care and promoting good patient outcomes. You will be responsible for conducting ward/unit orientation and induction for new recruits/graduates, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
As a Nursing Clinician Leader, you will supervise and guide new recruits/graduates and existing nurses, providing mentorship and support to enhance their performance. You will also assist the Nurse Manager/Nurse Clinician in implementing, assessing, and evaluating nurses' competencies, promoting continuous learning and improvement.
Nursing Leadership and Development:- Conduct ward/unit orientation and induction for new recruits/graduates, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Supervise and guide new recruits/graduates and existing nurses, providing mentorship and support to enhance their performance.
- Assist the Nurse Manager/Nurse Clinician in implementing, assessing, and evaluating nurses' competencies, promoting continuous learning and improvement.
- Coordinate, plan, implement, and evaluate ward/unit training activities, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Enhance safety culture by reducing falls incidence, medication errors, and needle stick injuries, promoting a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
- Facilitate reviews with staff on hospital occurrence reports, ensuring plans are implemented to minimize future occurrences and prevent similar incidents.
- Improve infection control practices and reduce risks of healthcare-associated infections, upholding the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation.
- Comply with Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), maintaining confidentiality and respecting patients' rights.
- Registered with Singapore Nursing Board
- Diploma in Nursing or equivalent recognized by the Singapore Nursing Board
- Advanced Diploma in Perioperative Nursing / Anaesthesia Nursing
- Degree in Nursing
- At least 2 to 4 years experience as a Senior Staff Nurse
