Job Description

The Senior/Executive Engineer, Signal and Communication is responsible for providing engineering solutions to reliability issues affecting signalling, communication and control systems.

He will conduct defect troubleshooting, failure analysis, and develop engineering solutions to identified problems. The role requires collaboration with Operations and Maintenance staff from various departments to investigate defects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate effectively with Operations and Maintenance staff to investigate defects.
  • Develop methods, propose modifications, and improve maintenance strategies.
  • Analyze and trend condition monitoring and defect data to identify reliability concerns.
  • Draft technical work instructions for preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Identify and implement cost-effective technologies to enhance system performance.
  • Support projects by reviewing design specifications to ensure safety, reliability, maintainability, and operability.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proficient in diagnostic and reliability engineering methodologies such as Weibull Analysis, Failure Mode and Effect Criticality Analysis, Fault Tree Analysis, and best practices in Maintenance Science.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.

Fluent in written and spoken English. Strong analytical and decision-making skills are necessary for this role.
