Job Summary

The GMP Group is seeking a highly skilled Facilities Operations Supervisor to lead our maintenance team. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in plant, equipment & facilities maintenance and troubleshooting.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance team, ensuring efficient operation of plant processing equipment.
  • Perform regular condition monitoring, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance to prevent mechanical failures.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve machine breakdowns.
  • Ensure strict adherence to company health & safety policies during maintenance activities.
  • Supervise contractor safety and maintain neat and organized machinery areas.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive safety training programs and environmental hazard prevention strategies.
  • Analyze workflows and machinery functions to identify potential improvements.
  • Plan and execute maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization.
  • Prepare detailed reports for senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
  • Keep accurate records of equipment performance and maintenance activities.
  • Support plant expansion projects and contribute to other duties as necessary.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in plant, equipment & facilities maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Practical experience in mechanical engineering and solid technical knowledge.
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Fire Safety Manager certification (an added benefit).
