Job Overview

The primary objective of this role is to provide exceptional customer service and support the daily operations of the badminton arena. This includes handling court bookings, responding to enquiries, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all users.

  • This position requires effective communication and interpersonal skills to handle various customer interactions.

Serving as the first point of contact for all enquiries via phone, email, or walk-ins, this individual will provide clear and accurate information to players and guests.

  • Handling customer feedback involves listening attentively to concerns and directing them to the appropriate team when necessary.

This role also entails making, modifying, and checking online or walk-in bookings, monitoring court usage to prevent overbooking, and politely reminding players if their booking has ended or if they are using the court without a valid slot.

  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including the customer service counter and surrounding area, is crucial in providing an excellent user experience.

Assisting with events, tournaments, or ad hoc coordination when required, this person will also be responsible for updating booking records and supporting basic reporting tasks, such as analyzing booking trends and customer feedback.

  • Apart from these duties, this role may involve assisting with the opening or closing of the badminton halls and ensuring customers adhere to venue protocols and safety guidelines.

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in customer-facing roles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to handle diverse customer interactions.
  • A willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Proficiency in general computer skills and Microsoft Office applications.
  • A friendly, organized, reliable, and team-oriented approach to work.
