Job Title: Project Officer

The Interdisciplinary Collaborative Core (ICC) Office is seeking a highly motivated and organized Project Officer to conceptualize, manage, and execute research projects that promote interdisciplinary and collaborative learning amongst Nanyang Technological University students.

This role requires the successful candidate to work closely with the ICC Office and teaching staff to design research approaches, collect and analyze data, and present findings to various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as proficiency in graphical-user interfaced software and online search tools.

To be considered for this position, applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree in psychology, educational research or a related field and have at least one year of relevant experience in psychological or education-related fields. Knowledge and experience in social science research methodologies, ability to manage and organize participants, and good written and oral communication skills are also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design research approaches to measure interdisciplinary and collaborative learning
  • Collect, analyze, report, and/or present ICC-related data
  • Propose improvements to existing research/survey designs, materials, and reports
  • Propose new research/surveys to promote interdisciplinary and collaborative learning
  • Lead and conduct data collection activities related to research projects
  • Take charge of research project budgeting and expenditure
  • Design surveys using graphical-user interfaced software
  • Presentation of research findings, implications, and suggestions, and follow up on required actions and plans with various stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, educational research or a related field
  • At least one year of relevant experience in psychological or education-related fields
  • Knowledge and experience in social science research methodologies
  • Ability to manage and organize participants
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in graphical-user interfaced software and online search tools
