Process Development Specialist

Job Summary:
As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development of processes for life science projects. This involves working closely with clients and other stakeholders to design, implement, and validate process engineering solutions that meet industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements and develop tailored process engineering solutions.
2. Design, review, and optimize process engineering drawings and calculations, including heat exchanger sizing, pump selection, piping design, control valve sizing, heat and mass balances, and other engineered calculations.
3. Verify and validate calculations provided by vendors, clients, and consultants to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry regulations.
4. Prepare and review technical data sheets for various equipment, instrumentation, and systems used in biologics manufacturing.
5. Ensure all documentation aligns with project requirements and industry best practices.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Science or equivalent.
2. Minimum 2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical process engineering and/or compliance (GxP) environment.
3. Excellent knowledge of technical drawings, general arrangement drawings, and equipment design drawings (P&ID).
4. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
5. Experience in the management and coordination of engineering and construction management consultants, equipment vendors, and contractors.
6. Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
