Job Title: Special Education Teacher

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated special education professional to join our team in a rewarding role that makes a positive impact in the lives of students with autism.

  • Deliver clear and effective lessons using a variety of relevant teaching strategies for students with autism, taking into account their diverse learning and developmental needs, interests, abilities and potential.
  • Play a key role in planning and developing curriculum and programs that facilitate student learning, working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team and parents.
  • Exhibit deep commitment to the holistic education and development of students, adapting approaches accordingly to meet their individual needs.
  • Work closely with a multi-professional team and parents in providing quality education and feedback for students, guiding and coaching teacher aides as needed.
  • Plan and write IEP lesson plans, reports, records and documentation that meet the unique needs of each student.
Requirements:
  • Recognised degree or polytechnic diploma in a relevant field.
  • Teaching qualifications or equivalent in special education is preferred.
  • 5 credits in GCE 'O' level with a pass in English and Mathematics is mandatory.
  • Preferably 3 years of experience at secondary level.
  • Familiar with national curriculum and able to adapt to changing educational landscapes.
  • Demonstrate passion in teaching and a commitment to delivering high-quality education to students with autism.
