Senior Research Scientist

We are seeking an exceptional faculty member to join our tenure track in the discipline of Computer Science & Engineering.
The successful candidate will have a strong research focus in one of our core areas, including Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, Human-Machine Collaborative Systems, and Information Systems & Technology.
- Research Focus:
- Artificial Intelligence & Data Science: data management, natural language processing, data visualization and analytics, recommender systems, social sensing and activation, decision making and optimization, machine learning and intelligence.
- Human-Machine Collaborative Systems: pervasive sensing and systems, IoT and embedded systems, robotics systems, mobile and pervasive systems, context-aware and edge computing platform, human-computer interaction.
- Information Systems & Technology: software engineering, cybersecurity, information systems management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct innovative research in computer science & engineering.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate students.
- Mentor Ph.D. students.
- Develop and maintain industry collaborations.
Requirements:
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
- A strong research record and publication history.
- Excellent teaching and mentoring skills.
