System Enhancement Specialist

We are seeking an experienced system enhancement specialist to support the design, configuration and optimization of our core banking systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and document functional and non-functional requirements for deposit products.
  • Map business requirements to features in our core banking software.
  • Create technical specification documents and provide guidance to developers during design and implementation.
  • Participate in parameter configuration and table maintenance in the system environment.
  • Conduct system walkthroughs and gap analysis for deposit workflows and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Liaise with vendor teams for patches, parameter updates or system fixes.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience as a Business Analyst or System Analyst in core banking systems.
  • Strong knowledge of our core banking software including deposit management and transaction processing.
  • Experience with parameter table setup and configuration in our system environment.
  • Understanding of general ledger integration and interest accrual mechanisms.
  • Expertise in AS400 platform and programming with RPG COBOL400 SQL and Query400.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
