Production Leadership Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in construction or steel fabrication management. They will be expected to lead daily factory and production operations, plan and monitor fabrication schedules, and work closely with QS, engineers, and site teams.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, able to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to drive efficiency and cost savings. They will also be a strong communicator, able to mentor supervisors and guide workers to achieve consistent output.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily factory and production operations (steel, bollards, prefabricated walls)
  • Plan, organise, and monitor fabrication schedules to meet delivery deadlines
  • Work closely with QS, engineers, and site teams for smooth handovers
  • Build and enforce systems for quality, stock, and manpower efficiency
  • Mentor supervisors and guide workers to achieve consistent output
  • Uphold safety and MOM/BCA compliance at all times
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Civil, or related Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in construction or steel fabrication management
  • Strong grasp of fabrication drawings, welding processes, and QC
  • Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate with site operations
  • Familiar with MOM workplace safety regulations
