Job Opportunity: Logistics Professional

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced logistics professional to join our team as a Business Development Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to expand their career in sales and business development within the logistics industry.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in securing new clients and meeting sales targets. They will also possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute sales strategies for airfreight and ocean freight across regional trade lanes.
  • Customer Acquisition: Build a strong pipeline, secure new mid-to-large clients, and meet sales targets.
  • Differentiator Identification: Identify and promote differentiators and solutions to win and retain customers.
  • Trade Lane Expansion: Expand key trade lanes in APAC, US, and Europe, focusing on general freight, manufacturing supply chains, and DG cargo.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Several years in logistics or freight forwarding.
  • Hunter Role Experience: 2-3 years in a hunter role with proven success securing new clients.
  • Skills: Experience with tenders, RFQs, pricing, trade lanes, and more.
