About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Deputy/Assistant Manager, Contracts (Procurement Policy & Analytics) to join our team at Careers@Gov. As a key member of our Procurement Policy & Analytics team, you will play a critical role in transforming our procurement processes through data analytics and driving a data-driven approach in decision making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect construction/infrastructure/procurement data, leveraging data analytics tools to establish cost trends and draw insights to support decision making.
  • Design and execute strategic procurement initiatives across LTA, including supply market analysis, strategy development, and supplier negotiations.
  • Propose and implement agile and robust measures to address identified gaps and risks to ensure sustainability of the eco-system.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in construction laws, procurement, and financial procedures to continuously review and enhance prevailing procurement processes, controls, and interventions.
  • Engage stakeholders to identify areas of improvement and re-engineer existing processes for a more efficient and streamlined workflow.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Building/Quantity Surveying, IT/Computing, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in cost estimation and contract administration in engineering or construction projects is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and written skills.
