Role Overview:
The Salvation Army Singapore's Peacehaven Nursing Home is seeking an exceptional Senior Social Services Manager to lead our social work team.

You will lead complex case management and psychosocial interventions, provide guidance on high-risk cases, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal care delivery.

Additionally, you will conduct audits and monitor performance metrics, provide supervision, mentorship, and professional development to staff, approve financial assistance recommendations made by social workers, and foster a supportive, collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the social work team's performance, workload, and case assignments
  • Lead complex case management and psychosocial interventions
  • Provide guidance on high-risk cases and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Conduct audits and monitor performance metrics
  • Provide supervision, mentorship, and professional development to staff
  • Approve financial assistance recommendations made by social workers

Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, minimum 5 years of relevant supervisory or managerial experience in Social Work, strong leadership and team management skills, familiarity with relevant regulations, compliance requirements, and financial assistance programs, accredited Registered Social Worker by the Social Work Accreditation and Advisory Board.
