Job Description:

Mechanical engineers play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of factories. This position is responsible for overseeing daily operations, performing maintenance tasks, and improving processes to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.

The engineer will supervise the daily operation of various machinery, including fabrication equipment, CNC machines, and water jet systems, and develop and implement maintenance schedules for critical equipment to prevent breakdowns and reduce repair costs.

Process improvement and technical support are essential aspects of this role. The engineer will optimize cutting, polishing, and finishing processes to improve efficiency and reduce material wastage.

This position requires collaboration with factory supervisors to resolve production bottlenecks and implement process improvements, and the engineer will interpret and modify shop drawings for stone fabrication using AutoCAD LT and collaborate with sales, design, and factory teams to ensure accuracy between drawings and production.

Safety and compliance are crucial aspects of this role. The engineer will ensure that equipment complies with workplace safety standards and support the implementation of safety systems, including dust collectors and PPE protocols.

The engineer will contribute to risk assessments and SOP development for fabrications and machinery use, and prepare technical reports, machine service logs, and operational manuals, as well as supporting procurement team in evaluating new machinery and spare parts.
