Senior Software Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled software development specialist to join our IT team in Singapore.

  • Lead technical design studies, collaborate with infrastructure, big data experts, and business analysts.
  • Document and develop proposed solutions aligned with continuous integration and deployment practices.
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor team members on best practices.
  • Report project progress to managers and escalate technical risks as needed.
  • Research, design, and develop new software components and solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • 8 years of experience in software development and 3 years in Java/J2EE development.
  • Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Spark streaming and Spark.
  • Knowledge on Hadoop (HDFS, HBase, Hive, ORC/Parquet).

Experience in solution design using design patterns and anti-pattern awareness is desired.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with tools such as Phoenix, ElasticSearch, Sqoop, StreamSets.
  • Basic understanding of finance and investment banking concepts.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role.
