Job Title: Chief Design Strategist

We are seeking a visionary Interior Design Leader to spearhead the creative vision, quality and performance of our interior design services. The ideal candidate will drive the combination of design and product strategy that leads to unique value propositions and significant market impact.

This role requires significant travel, a professional presentation style, articulative skills, creativity, good judgment, client and operator management and strong business acumen.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Closely collaborate with Co-CEOs and creative leadership team to develop and implement client development strategies to reinforce our position as a leading luxury hospitality design firm globally.
  • Lead and work on multiple hospitality design projects, overseeing project deliverables and resolving escalations by collaborating with clients and other stakeholders.
  • Be the key point of contact for projects and clients, responsible for overall quality and performance of the project teams led.
  • Have an active involvement in client engagement and business development activities, developing new approaches to design process and strategy to foster a culture of design within the practice.
  • Develop next generation design talent, coach and support their professional development, working closely with project leaders, design leaders and project teams across studios.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in interior design, with a focus on hospitality projects.
  • Proven track record of leading successful design projects from concept to completion.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing innovative and high-quality interior design work.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Strong understanding of building codes, regulations and sustainable design practices.
