Job Title: Component Quality Assurance Specialist

This is a challenging role for an experienced professional to manage and maintain the highest standards of quality within our automotive industry partner's component supply chain. As a Component Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all components meet the required technical and quality specifications.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Qualify new components and requalify existing ones in accordance with APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) processes and Client's Product Life Cycle.

  2. Develop and implement advanced quality measures during design and development phases to guarantee supplier components meet all technical and quality requirements.

  3. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Purchasing, Engineering, Project Management, SQM, Customer Quality, and Logistics to ensure seamless quality management.

  4. Review corrective actions from VDA 6.3 audits, focusing on early involvement and preventive measures.

  5. Contribute to lessons learned and best practice sharing across the category, organization, and supplier base.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronic and/or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the Automotive Industry.
  • Strong understanding of Component Introduction in design and development phase and APQP management.
  • Ability to understand, discuss, and align technical requirements based on drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge in process for plastic over molding/molding and its secondary process with cosmetic requirement, stamping, press-fit stamping, sub-component assembly, automated inline testing, wire cutting/terminating for cable assemblies.
  • Strong Knowledge in quality related methodologies and standards (eg. FMEA, 8D review, 5why, Problem Solving, etc)
