Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products by supporting new product development projects through the NPD Stage Gate Process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support multiple global New Product Development Projects through the NPD Stage Gate Process.
  • Ensure all Quality Assurance NPD deliverables and activities are understood and completed.
  • Participate actively in NPD Integrated Product Development Team (IPDT) meetings and activities.

You will collaborate with Design Engineering to define measurement methodologies for critical dimensions and specifications, incorporating them into Receiving Inspection documentation. Additionally, you will work with vendors to ensure understanding of requirements and lead product Qualification efforts, including components, materials, and vendors.

Other key responsibilities include leading Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and supporting Design FMEA where applicable, preparing Control plans, inspection documentation, and Quality Plans, facilitating PPAPs and Customer Approvals, and conducting supplier audits for NPD components where applicable.

To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You should also be able to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and a bachelor's degree in a related field. Experience working in a similar role is highly desirable.
