Join a dynamic team of engineers dedicated to designing innovative mechanical solutions. We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to play a pivotal role in our design and development process.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer who can work closely with our project team and customers to define requirements and generate project specifications. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing 3D model designs and 2D drawings, as well as assembly and project-related documentation.

In addition to these core responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be expected to design and develop automation systems, working closely with our manufacturing team to ensure seamless execution. They will provide support in quality control and delivery goals, and collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure uniform application of good manufacturing practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design custom test handling automation from conceptual design generation to completion
  • Work closely with the project team and customer to define requirements and generate project specifications
  • Produce 3D model designs and 2D drawings, as well as assembly and project-related documentation
  • Design and develop automation systems, including working with the manufacturing team
  • Provide support in quality control and delivery goals
  • Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure uniform application of good manufacturing practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in designing industrial and automation equipment, product assembly, and test fixtures
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles and calculations
  • Proficiency in 3D/2D design and drafting software, particularly Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
