Job Description

The successful candidate will oversee a nursing team at a care facility, ensuring high-quality care for residents.

Key responsibilities include coordinating teamwork, identifying areas for improvement, and developing staff through training and development programs.

  • Coordinate teamwork in resident care with care staff to deliver quality service to residents, relatives, and visitors.
  • Identify needs for improvement in service delivery and standard of care by maintaining direct resident contact and involvement in resident care.
  • Evaluate and maintain standard of service through regular meetings, team discussions, clinical training, and guidance.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills to resolve conflicts among care staff, residents, or their family members.
  • Ensure effective and efficient use of staff management resources, equipment, and materials pertaining to resident care and the Home.
  • Interpret policies, procedures, objectives, and standards to motivate staff to perform at their optimal level.
  • Participate as a member of the health team via attending ward rounds, meetings, and team conferences.
