The Institute of Banking and Finance is the lead agency driving financial services industry workforce competency and transformation essential for Singapore's continuing growth as an international financial centre. To ensure that the sector's workforce remains relevant amidst changing industry trends, we drive various initiatives to equip finance professionals with capabilities supporting the growth of Singapore's financial services.
We provide career conversion programmes re-skilling finance professionals and building new talent pipelines for growth areas. Our team focuses on personalised career advisory to job seekers exploring new roles or a career switch into financial services.
To address skills needs in the financial services industry, we set out competency standards and raise the quality of finance professionals using the Skills Framework for Financial Services in partnership with government agencies, financial institutions and training providers.
- We conduct research and data analysis to gain insights into manpower and skills development trends, recommending approaches to address skills needs.
- We develop and implement plans to engage financial institutions, professional bodies, tertiary and training institutions to expand training offerings.
- We promote and perform accreditation of training programmes based on the Skills Framework for Financial Services as well as other training schemes.
To succeed in this role, you should have prior experience in business or partnership development preferably with a background in the financial sector or programme accreditation.
You should be self-driven, analytical, resourceful and results-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
The ideal candidate should possess a mid-senior level of expertise in education, training and analysis.
