Job Title: Executive Chinese Kitchen ManagerSalary Range: SGD 6,500 - SGD 8,000 per month (Depending on Experience)About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chinese Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee Daily Operations: Assist in overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring food preparation meets the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure they follow food preparation and safety guidelines, as well as maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with the Head Chef to create new seasonal menus and innovative dishes that showcase our commitment to using only the freshest ingredients.
  • Inventories and Supplies: Monitor food stock levels, order supplies, and manage inventory to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Cost Control: Implement cost control measures to ensure food cost margins remain consistent and within budget.
  • Customer Feedback: Analyze customer feedback and adjust recipes and preparation techniques to improve food quality and meet customer expectations.
  • Sanitation and Safety: Maintain hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards in compliance with local regulations, including regular cleaning and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
Requirements:
  • Culinary Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a culinary role, preferably in a Chinese restaurant setting.
  • Culinary Skills: Strong understanding of Chinese culinary techniques and flavors, with the ability to create innovative dishes and menus.
  • Leadership and Communication: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide kitchen staff to achieve excellent results.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Problem-Solving: Decisive, critical thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving, able to think on their feet and adapt to changing situations.
  • Professionalism: Well-groomed, professional, and committed to maintaining high standards of food presentation and cleanliness.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, and split shifts, as required by the business.
