Compliance Director - Global Alternative Fund House

This position offers a unique opportunity to lead all Singapore Compliance matters for a leading global alternative fund house.

The Role:

A seasoned Compliance leader is required to report to the C-level and drive the Compliance function in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with MAS on all Compliance issues, identifying gaps and implementing frameworks to mitigate risks, ensuring policies align with Regulatory requirements, and advising the business accordingly.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree from a reputable university, have at least 10 years of experience in a Regulatory Compliance role, ideally with alternative assets experience, and have a strong understanding of MAS regulations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining a robust Compliance framework to ensure regulatory compliance and minimize risk.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to provide guidance on Compliance matters and advise on regulatory requirements.
  • Identifying and mitigating Compliance risks through regular audits and reviews.

The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.

Requirements:
