Our client is a global fund manager and is seeking for a dynamic and strategic leader to join its Alternatives Wealth Solutions team as Head of Private Markets and Alternatives, APAC Distribution.

**Based in Singapore/ Hong Kong, this role will be responsible for driving the development and execution of a regional sales strategy in partnership with sales teams across the region. The objective is to identify and address the alternatives investment needs of key clients, including private banks, banks, wealth platforms, and family offices.**

The Head of Private Markets and Alternatives, APAC Distribution will be responsible for sales enablement, relationship management, client education, and enhancing the overall client experience. This role will also involve regular engagement with senior leadership and require building strong, collaborative relationships across the organization.

Job Summary:

- Lead and drive sales and revenue generation across the APAC region, consistently meeting and exceeding objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote and expand private markets strategies
- Support asset-raising efforts and play a key role in fund selection and approval processes
- Drive ongoing projects, including expanding into new regions and launching innovative products
- Lead a high-performing team and identify new business opportunities
- Collaborate with team leads on onboarding and ensure seamless integration of fund offerings

Key Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees (MBA, CFA, CAIA) preferred
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in private markets and alternative investments
- Technical expertise in APAC's private markets strategies and deep understanding of key alternative asset classes
- Proven track record in developing and implementing sales and marketing plans
- Self-driven and highly motivated, with strong team collaboration skills
- Ability to build and manage key relationships, with experience leading a team preferred
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Frequent travel required
