About the Role:
- Conduct market research and financial analyses to identify opportunities for business growth and improvement.
- Participate in business development and stakeholder interactions to drive desired outcomes.
- Manage restructuring and insolvency processes for client engagements, ensuring adherence to standards of ethics and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyzing historical financial performance and conducting cash flow analyses to inform business decisions.
- Reviewing financial statements, assessing business performance, and gathering relevant data to develop financial restructuring plans.
- Researching and gathering information on legal entity structures, preparing documents for distressed asset sales, and assisting with correspondence to clients with creditors.
- Maintaining internal and external relationships, driving desired outcomes, and supporting team members with judicial management, receiverships, and liquidations.
Requirements:
- A background in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in corporate insolvency/restructuring is advantageous but not necessary.
- Strong analytical skills, ability to interpret data, generate insights, and construct solutions.
- Tenacious and willing to learn on the job, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and manage multiple deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong teamwork abilities.
