Senior Kitchen Associate

As a key member of our culinary team, the Senior Kitchen Associate plays a vital role in ensuring seamless food preparation and presentation. This dynamic individual will work closely with our Cooks to prepare and arrange food, maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Cooks in food preparation activities such as cleaning, cutting, chopping, and peeling food ingredients
- Clean and sanitize food preparation areas according to company and industry hygiene codes and health and safety standards
- Wash, disinfect, and store cooking and kitchen utensils and equipment properly
- Procure, weigh, and store ingredients and food supplies
- Operate various kitchen appliances and instruments, including cutters, knives, mixers, and ovens
- Manage inventory, unload supplies, and maintain a well-organized storeroom
- Participate in or contribute to programs, committees, or projects aimed at improving service quality and employee productivity
- Maintain clean work areas, utensils, and equipment
- Develop new menu items while enhancing existing ones
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices
- Experience with recipe development and implementation
- Ability to cook a variety of cuisines, particularly North Indian dishes
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
