Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced warehouse operative to join their team. As a warehouse operative, you will play a critical role in the smooth operation of our warehouse.

  • Key Responsibilities:

Some of your key responsibilities as a warehouse operative will include:

  • Operating a forklift safely and efficiently to move goods around the warehouse;
  • Loading and unloading goods from trucks and containers;
  • Picking and packing orders accurately and quickly;
  • Receiving and inspecting goods delivered to the warehouse;
    Reformatting data if necessary

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a warehouse operative or in a similar role;
    Industry recognised certification for operating a forklift;
    Strong communication and teamwork skills;
    Ability to work at height and in confined spaces;
    Physical fitness and stamina required;
    Proficient in MS Office and other software applications;
    Training in quality inspection and stock control procedures is desirable;
    To be available to work overtime on short notice, including weekends;
    Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new systems;
    A valid driver's license and reliable transport; and
    Good eyesight (corrected) with no colour vision deficiency;
    Regular attendance and punctuality are essential for this role;
    Ability to walk/climb stairs frequently during shift;
    Maintain clean and tidy personal appearance;
    Meeting tight deadlines and managing workload effectively is crucial; and
