Roles & Responsibilities

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience handling goods in a warehouse environment and preferably be certified to operate a forklift. You will play a critical role in ensuring inventory is received, stored, and shipped efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods and materials.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer requirements.
  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (training provided if needed).
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock checks.
  • Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
  • Assist in basic assembly, labeling, and packing tasks when required.
  • Report any damages, shortages, or quality issues to the supervisor immediately.
  • Follow all health, safety, and operational procedures at all times.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
  • Forklift license/certification is a strong advantage (or willing to be certified).
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
  • Good teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and meet deadlines.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Knowledge of basic inventory practices.
