Geotechnical Instrumentation Specialist

Our team is seeking a skilled Instrumentation Specialist to assist in the design, planning, and coordination of geotechnical instrumentation projects. As an integral member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for proposing engineering documents for clients' approval, on-site installation and hands-on monitoring of sensors, instruments, and equipment.
Key responsibilities include instructing, supervising, managing, and monitoring site personnel ensuring data processing, review, analysis, and submission of reports. Attending project meetings, scheduling control, submitting permits for on-site installation, setting up, and commissioning monitoring are also critical aspects of this role.
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Civil Engineering or Geology recognized by the PE Board, along with 3 years of relevant experience in major infrastructure projects. Working experience in geotechnical instrumentation and site investigation works is essential. Additionally, the successful candidate must be physically fit and able to withstand challenging working conditions.
As a self-motivated team player with excellent organizational and communication skills, you will work closely with clients to resolve installation and monitoring issues while overseeing all instrumentation works. This includes producing method statements, project quality plans, calibration, installation, data acquisition, data verification, data processing, web database management, data presentation, update of instrumentation drawings, and reporting.
